A violin can change the world wins Education Ministry award
On April 7 the French Education Ministry held its 11th annual National Innovation Day, an event that recognizes especially innovative education projects. Winners are selected from applications sponsored by school districts across France.
A violin can change the world was the only project selected in advance by its sponsor, the Versailles district, and it was chosen as a 2021 Laureate!
Our project competed in the category “Innovative education with families and regional partners,” and the judges were impressed by our commitment to education partnerships and the close collaboration between the Education Ministry, our host cities, students’ families and the Foundation.
We are very honored to receive this award, which will spotlight A violin can change the world on various occasions over the next 12 months.
As part of the application process, the team at the Val-d’Oise office of the Education Ministry made a short video about our project. View it here.
